An entire home-cooked healthy meal for just Rs.10. Sounds too good, right?
This is an initiative to provide food to the underprivileged by Raj Roti Centre, a unit of Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre – Parli.
A group of like minded ladies got together and chipped in funds and started off with this project.
Dr. Meena Goshar is one of them. Dr. Goshar is a doctor by profession, a Consulting Homeopath practising at Dadar and Wadala. She is actively involved with Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre.
“We provide a food packet of 6 Rotis(150gms), 125gms green vegetable and a banana at the cost of Rs.10. We started in May 2016. Initially for 3 months we were giving the food packet for Rs.5. Old people who are not looked after, handicapped people and those in a family with monthly income less than 7000-8000 are eligible to receive the food packets”, says Dr.Meena.
She includes an appeal to one and all to guide any person who falls under their criteria to avail the facility provided by Raj Roti Centre.
About other activities of Shrimad Rajchandra Aatma Tatva Research Centre, this is what Dr. Meena shares.
“Along with spiritual practices we are actively involved in Socioeconomic development of the tribals living in villages around the organization in Parli.”
Food is an universal language for all and we hope more people benefit from this endeavour of Raj Roti Centre.
